1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FakeMyInfo ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

FakeMyInfo provides free, browser-based tools that generate random fake data for legitimate purposes including software testing, development, privacy protection, and educational use. All data generation occurs client-side in your browser.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use FakeMyInfo tools for:

• Software testing and quality assurance
• Form validation and UI testing
• Database seeding and development environments
• Privacy protection when filling forms on untrusted websites
• Creative writing, game development, and character creation
• Educational demonstrations and training materials
• Prototyping and design mockups

4. Prohibited Use

You must NOT use data generated by FakeMyInfo for:

• Fraud - attempting to deceive individuals, businesses, or institutions
• Identity theft - impersonating real individuals or creating false identities for deceptive purposes
• Financial fraud - attempting to use generated credit card numbers, IBANs, or other financial data for real transactions
• Illegal activity - any activity that violates local, state, national, or international law
• Harassment - using generated data to harass, stalk, or harm others
• Spam - using generated emails or phone numbers for unsolicited communications
• Government fraud - submitting generated SSNs, tax IDs, or other government identifiers to official systems

5. Disclaimer About Generated Data

5.1 Credit Card Numbers

Generated credit card numbers pass the Luhn checksum algorithm for testing purposes but are NOT real credit cards. They are not linked to any bank account and cannot be used for purchases, cash advances, or any financial transaction. Any attempt to use them for real transactions is fraud.

5.2 Social Security Numbers (SSNs)

Generated SSNs follow the correct format but are NOT real Social Security Numbers. They are not assigned to any individual by the Social Security Administration. Using a generated SSN to apply for credit, employment, or government benefits is a federal crime.

5.3 IBANs and Bank Account Numbers

Generated IBANs pass MOD-97 checksum validation but are NOT real bank accounts. They cannot be used for wire transfers, SEPA payments, or any banking transaction.

5.4 Phone Numbers

Generated phone numbers use valid area code formats and may coincidentally match real phone numbers. Do not call generated phone numbers. They are for testing form validation only.

5.5 Addresses

Generated addresses use real street name patterns with random numbers and may occasionally coincide with real addresses. This is unintentional.

5.6 Names and Emails

Generated names are random combinations from cultural name datasets. Any resemblance to real individuals is coincidental. Generated email addresses are random and may or may not correspond to real mailboxes.

6. No Warranty

FakeMyInfo is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of generated data
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with specific software or systems

We do not guarantee that generated data will meet your specific testing requirements or pass all validation checks in all systems.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FakeMyInfo and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or generated data, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

8. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use data generated by FakeMyInfo. By using our tools, you acknowledge that:

• You understand the generated data is fake and for testing/educational purposes only
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You accept full responsibility for any consequences of your use
• FakeMyInfo is not liable for any misuse of generated data

9. Affiliate Links Disclosure

Some pages on FakeMyInfo may contain affiliate links to third-party products or services. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay. Affiliate relationships do not influence the functionality or output of our generators.

10. Intellectual Property

The FakeMyInfo website design, code, and branding are proprietary. The generated data itself (random names, numbers, addresses, etc.) is not copyrighted and may be used freely for any lawful purpose. You may not:

• Copy or redistribute the site's source code
• Create derivative works based on our tools' code
• Use the FakeMyInfo name or branding without permission
• Scrape the site at scale for commercial purposes

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these Terms or uses the Site for illegal purposes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
